His attacks are faster than his younger brother's but do less damage and rather than using pistols he summons swords and fires them as his projectile of choice. As a fighter, he plays much differently than Dante.

It can also perform a variety of techniques that are both visible in his boss fights and utilizable by players controlling him. The older twin brother of Devil May CryВ protagonist Dante, Vergil is the other child of the powerful demon knight Sparda and as such has inherited an immense amount of strength.
